Due to supply chain constraints, please allow for 6 - 8 weeks lead time when purchasing this kit.
The “Bucket” is a low-cost, community-friendly air sampler that helps people measure toxic chemicals in their air. Developed in the late 1990s, it was one of the first (if not the very first) do-it-together environmental monitors.
Buckets continue to be a critical tool for fenceline communities. These kits can be used to test for chemicals such as benzene, hydrogen sulfide, perchloroethylene, and vinyl chloride, as well as other volatile organic compounds (VOCs) and sulfur compounds. Watch this video to learn more about how to take an air quality sample using the "Bucket" monitoring system.
This version of the kit includes the "Bucket" and lid, as well as the valves, ferrules, and two sample bags you will need in order to collect a sample, as well as an air pump.
